Despite it being up here in 2007 we've had this one in the works for a long time now. I think back in 2004 or 2005. It was finally finished in 2006 where many people got to buy this for their walls at home. I had seen some Kill Bill/Naruto spoofs, but I had decided to take it one step further and to recreate the entire movie poster.
I loved the original movie poster and I was so lucky that I found it for sale at Kim's Video in NYC. When I had gotten it from Ivory M. (who had forgotten about it andI had to nag her to do it) it was all in seperate pieces, including the sword which was in 3 pieces.
For the sword we had to pull out some of mine and then Ivory's. Her's was more of a curve as opposed to the straight one I had. All in all it was a pain in the ass, but I'm happy that it came out so nicely.
I wanted to do a doujin of this as well, but only time will tell.
